Project overview

This Medicine initiative titled "Malaria research network" will coordinate research centers across the region. It establishes centralized surveillance models to track resistant parasite strains.

Multi-country network tracking malaria resistance patterns and developing new treatment protocols.

Methodology

Utilizing genetic sequencing techniques alongside routine clinical monitoring, we aggregate patient response data across multiple hospital sites. Field operations are synchronized through open web portals.

Expected impact

Informing update schedules for therapeutic guidelines, providing healthcare practitioners with real-time insight on resistance maps, and developing open scientific frameworks.
