Project overview

This Agriculture initiative titled "Soil health project" aims to rehabilitate depleted farmlands. It creates localized soil nutrient maps and tests natural restoration techniques.

Mapping soil nutrient density and degradation patterns to guide agricultural interventions.

Methodology

Grid-based field soil sampling combined with spectrometer testing in University of Ghana laboratories. We partner with local farming cooperatives to apply different organic treatments.

Expected impact

Reversing soil degradation trends in pilot areas, increasing crop yield predictability, and publishing low-cost fertilization recommendations.
